Reading, atmospheric rooms, self-directed practices, and the Journal do not need your words to leave the browser. The Sage does.

Stays in your browser

Processed elsewhere
- A Sage submission and up to ten recent conversation messages pass through the Dotish backend to Anthropic, or to OpenAI if the primary provider is unavailable.
- The providers’ standard API policies allow inputs and outputs to be retained for up to 30 days. Dotish does not claim a zero-data-retention agreement.
- AWS processes request and security metadata in us-east-1. Hashed rate-limit identifiers expire after 7 days; production server logs are retained for 30 days.
The current boundary
Dotish does not store Sage conversation history server-side in the current production deployment, and optional training-data logging is disabled. Anthropic and OpenAI state that API data is not used to train their models by default. Their own retention and legal exceptions still apply.
